Pinterest // Design

I have been told to use a Pinterest account, to locate a variety of different sources to help with getting me interested in different styles of design. On my account, I have created a series of "boards" to help with the flow of how to become more inspired, these boards are a variety of "Design, Geometric, and City in Flux".

On the 'Design' board, I have 289 pins. This means I have quite a lot of images on this one particular board, I really like the design board as it showcases what kinds of design that I mostly interested in. This being: minimalist, lights, art, buildings, typography and calligraphy, stationary, and many more. I have been influenced by many people after looking at some of the artists and designers, who I have 'pinned' onto this one board. I really like the artists that use neon lights on their work, like: James Turrell “The Light Inside”, which is posted below:


I really like this image as I personally love the way aesthetically pleasing it looks. I think it looks rather calming with the choice of colour, yet it feels very quirky too, which again is another reason why I really like this image.
