Marilyn Monroe – Illustrator

To create this, we used Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator to create a caricature of Marilyn Monroe. The image of Marilyn Monroe was given to me and I had to reduce the opacity of the image so that the lines/curves I drew over, was easily visivble. I used the the pen tool to trace around the outline of her face, nose, mouth, eyes and hair. Then, using the same tool I added extra detail to the hair, eyes and mouth to form her teeth.

I then added colour to fill the shapes that had been created here this allowed the drawing to look more realistic as it could be. I thought that it was quite difficult to use the pen tool in this style, as I couldn't get to grips with it unfortunately.
