Stefan Sagmeister's Depiction of Happiness

Stefan Sagmeister is a designer/artist that creates beautiful imagery, video, and even typography in a new and creative way. In 2012, he produced a show called the Happy Show (see below) at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Philadelphia. The show invites the viewers to enter into Sagmeister's mind and join on his quest to find happiness.

'Filling the Institute of Contemporary Art's (ICA) entire second-floor galleries and ramp, and activating the in-between spaces of the museum, The Happy Show offers visitors the experience of walking into Stefan Sagmeister's mind as he attempts to increase his happiness via mediation, cognitive therapy, and mood-altering pharmaceuticals.'

I have known about Stefan's work before, due to my brother as he showed me of an interesting website which showed a studio from the ceiling. I was very intrigued by this as it was a camera on the ceiling and it was a live feed of Sagmeister and Walsh's studio in New York. I was so fascinated by this, as it was a live feed, showing me what the company was doing at the time of day when I went onto their website. I love Sagmeister and Walsh's work as it is so unique and very interesting for me. I love their typography pieces especially.
